A life-long Kansan, Joe Hoffman is a proud member of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Friends of the Zoo for the Kansas City Zoo (FOTZ). He is happy to support worthy organizations such as the International Anti-Poaching Foundation (IAPF), the Harvesters, and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Joe is the proud "adoptive father" of an African Rhinoceros named "Rocky" and a Polar Bear named "Patty" (pictured below) through the World Wildlife Fund's Adopt an Animal program.
Joe has also been a huge animal lover since he was a kid. This love of animals was largely shaped by his making frequent trips to the Kansas City Zoo, watching television programs like Grizzly Adams and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins, and reading the Doctor Dolittle books while he was growing up. Currently, Joe is an avid fan of Jack Hanna and enjoys watching episodes of his shows on TV.
A lover of photography and the visual arts, Joe founded Joe's Cowtown Photos so that he could share his photos with the world, and he began the Joe's Cowtown Photos Cares! Program so that he could do his part to help make the world a better place.
Joe has taken photos in over 100 different locations and in 5 different states. To view the map that displays the locations of Joe's photo shoots, click here!
